About Matthew V. Brumm, MD

Dr. Brumm graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duke University before beginning his medical studies at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After graduating in 2007 from Johns Hopkins he completed an internship in internal medicine at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem North Carolina followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center in Ann Arbor. He continued his fellowship training in cornea cataract and refractive surgery at the Kellogg Eye Center.

While at Duke University Dr. Brumm was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and received the Edward C. Horn award for excellence in Biology. He is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
